27 May, 2012 UPDATE:

Update: There are now two new pieces being worked on for the cover of our album by Crystal Malone Art( http://crystalmaloneart.wordpress.com/).

I’m personally apologizing for not updating this much as I have been. I had a house moving party over past weekend, and the moving and cleaning carried into this past week. In saying that, I’ve still been in contact with the involved bands and sponsors working on several promotional ideas. RKR(Rock Krusher Radio), FREEdom United Radio, KimJAC, LLC, and others have been spreading the love. WE APPRECIATE YOU. Keep at it.

Release is STILL set for Aug 31. AS SOON as we get the FULL track list, we will start taking orders.

14 May 2012 UPDATE:

With things moving along as quickly as they are(which honestly I wasn’t at first anticipating), I’m starting to pick up ‘#teamPLASC team members’ Obviously as explained to a good bit of you in one-on-one’s #teamPLASC WILL move beyond the rock genre on future releases, so it’s good to get support from other groups along with the rock fans on this first release.
In saying all that, Phyllis F-Baby P is now one of our reps up on Toronto. She’s been a good friend of mine for some time and has been/is a good supporter of projects we’ve managed to whip up out of our think tank. Drop in and say hello. ♥

We’ve officially had tracks released to us from Fading Point and Swerve, and have also listened in on tracks being worked on by The Electric Sunkings and Satellites Fall. ALL of our track samples will be available on the #teamPLASC Reverbnation and full tracks can be heard on respective band pages and/or through bands directly. http://reverbnation.com/teamplasc

UPDATE: 3 May, 2012

NOTICE: As of 2AM this morning, our website domain was registered. We are now teamplasc.com. Special thanks to Johnell for donating the cash in full to get the domain.

29 April, 2012 Update

Happy Sunday folks! Just a quick update for all. I’m pleased to note that most of the people ‘infected’ with a charitable heart have helped us gain some exposure that I could not have done alone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You all have probably been seeing your friends posting the ‘What is #teamPLAC’ most of this past week. This has been one of the reasons we’ve accomplished what we have in such a short time, but the reality is, we have a LONG way to go in gathering up support and exposure. In saying that, the website has been launched for #teamPLASC as noted yesterday, and we are in the final stages of a contract letter for the bands to read over and sign so that everyone is on the same page. I promised that letter to go out this weekend, but I’ve been personally swamped with contacting people that I just did not have a chance to complete. Look for that to go out first thing this coming week.

There’s been a few more bands that have contacted me back, and we are proud to announce that Howling Dollhouse, The Electric Sunkings and Swerve all have shown a LOT of keen interest in this project, and I’m pretty sure that once we have everything finished with contract letters and full information we’ll have these fine fellaz at our side.

We should have a post by Lee Robinson giving his first hand account about the Willow Foundation that we will be donating to, here in the next few days. Keep your eyes peeled for updates, because this is why we are doing all this work.

Special thanks to Crystal Malone, and Krista Z for giving up some of their own personal time to create our CD cover artwork.
